In a recent survey, IFA members provided insights into their organisations' return to the office and hybrid working practices, their preferences for working location, and their working hours.
The results showed that even amid talent shortages and conversations about a four-day working week, accountants' work/life balance is not supported. Not only is there a gulf between the proportion of workers with access to hybrid work and those who would like to work in a hybrid model, half of respondents are also overworked.
