The government is urging companies that must file accounts by the end of September, not to leave it to the last minute.
The government has asked the 300,000 companies that must file accounts by 30 September to not leave it to the last minute.
“File online before your deadline and we’ll send you an email to confirm we’ve received your accounts. We’ll send you another email when we’ve registered your accounts.
“It can take as little as 15 minutes from start to finish and you’ll know your accounts have been delivered on time,” the government said in a statement.
The government’s online filing service, available 24 hours a day, has inbuilt checks to help businesses avoid mistakes.
Companies are also able to lodge by post, but the government has warned that it will not accept postal delays as an excuse for late filing.
