Membership fees frozen for 2021

I know that some of you will have experienced a change in circumstances due to the pandemic and it may be that you are eligible for a reduction in your membership fees. Please visit the IFA website for details. We will do our best to assist you wherever possible.

Your health and wellbeing is paramount and our aim is to keep you up to date with the latest guidance and support via our Covid-19 web pages and the Members Support Group. Restrictions around how we can meet means that our events are being held online. They have included the tax series, mini workshops, and our first online national branch meetings with more than 400 of you in attendance.

I’ve been keen to keep the branch network going during this time too. They are a vital way to provide support at a local level. Each online surgery is 60 minutes long, informal in nature with updates from IFA staff and guests. They also provide an excellent opportunity for you to ask questions. Meetings have taken place across the country. And you have enjoyed the opportunity to engage and see each other so much so that we are looking at holding them more frequently.

Starting in October we are running a series of financial reporting webinars that will give technical insight and practical understanding of aspects of FRS 102 and FRS 105. A further tax series is scheduled for November. Feedback to date on all events has been extremely positive and digital events will now form part of a blended approach to ensure that you can continue to stay up to date with current issues and maintain your CPD wherever you are in the world.
