Senior Financial Accountant

Our client urgently requires a temporary Senior Financial Accountant, to assist whilst the department is involved in an major implementation project.

Our client is a world leader and global player in the management of loyalty programmes and are based in prestigious offices in Central London.

Responsibilities for this role include:

*Preparation of timetable for preparation, audit and sign off of all UK financial statements under either IFRS or UK GAAP
* Preparation draft financial statements under IFRS and UK GAAP ensuring that the disclosures are compliant with the relevant accounting standards
* Ensuring that a complete audit file is prepared with all necessary back up for all figures and disclosures
* Liaising with the auditors to ensure all audit queries are closed off in good time for final reviews by the relevant stakeholders

* Ensuring that all relevant parties internally and externally have reviewed the draft financial statements and all comments received have been resolved in full

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with 2- 4 years post qualification experience from a blue chip retail environment or accounting practice, have strong technical skills, be methodical, quick and accurate.
