Financial Accountant- International Media Company

A world-renowned media company are looking for a Financial Accountant for their London office. This role is temporary for 8-10 months and to be reviewed thereafter. The ideal candidate should be either finalist or qualified level ACA, ACCA, CA or CIMA, and ideally have experience within media or retail sectors.

The Financial Accountant reports to the Finance Manager and the role will encompass accurate and timely financial reporting and financial accounting, ensuring adequate and internal controls, ensure all businesses are SOX compliant, as well as deputising for the Finance Manager when required.

Person Specification:
Financial or Management Accounting experience, some of which will have been in a US GAAP reporting environment, ideally with exposure to international operations
SAP knowledge is advantageous

Responsibilities:
Review cost centres, create correcting/accrual journals, review postings 
Provide regular and ad-hoc management information 
Process royalty and sub-distribution transactions 	
Preparation of revenue accrual
Tracking of PO spend/reconciliations/accruals
Develop budgets and forecasts (revenue and costs)
Overhead budgeting/forecasting 
Responsible for head office queries, any corrections, monthly gross profit analysis, schedule information 
Assist with the quarterly management reporting 	
Develop capital budgets
